Dear Parent or Guardian,
Our first unit of study in Science and Technology is; Earth and Space Systems, Soils in the Environment. By the end of this unit, your child will: demonstrate an understanding of the impact of soils on society and the environment, and of the impact of humans on the environment and soils, investigate the composition and characteristics of different soils; and demonstrate an understanding of the composition of soils, the types of soils, and the relationship between soils and other living things.
